Notary Ink Stamp Seals

Nebraska law requires that all notaries commissioned after Aug. 31, 2007, must use an ink stamp seal engraved with the following:

• State of Nebraska.
• General Notary or General Notarial.
• His or her commissioned name.
• The expiration date of the commission.

Current notaries must comply with the seal requirements upon renewal of their commission.
